Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which rose 2.55% or 6.65 points to trade at 267.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) added 2.37% or 5.40 points to end at 233.50 and Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR) was up 1.46% or 0.48 points to 33.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 3.11% or 0.15 points to trade at 4.77 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.19% or 12.00 points to end at 536.50 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was down 1.78% or 0.22 points to 11.84.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 155 to 123 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.11% or 0.08 to $71.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.08% or 0.06 to hit $73.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 8.95 to trade at $2,655.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.48% to 11.66, while USD/NOK rose 0.10% to 10.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.51.
