Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy, Real Estate and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 7.09% or 14.00 points to trade at 205.57 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 3.73% or 0.60 points to end at 16.70 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 3.42% or 1.88 points to 56.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 2.93% or 2.2 points to trade at 71.6 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.40% or 10.40 points to end at 423.80 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 1.84% or 0.84 points to 44.67.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 85 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.81% or 0.60 to $74.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.07% or 0.90 to hit $84.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.00 to trade at $1192.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.02% to 9.5088, while USD/NOK rose 0.05% to 8.2807.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 95.44.
