Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Utilities and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 6.79% or 7.30 points to trade at 114.80 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 5.02% or 20.40 points to end at 426.60 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 4.91% or 3.3 points to 69.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.73% or 11.60 points to trade at 233.40 at the close. DnB ASA (OL:DNB) declined 0.85% or 1.4 points to end at 169.8 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 0.55% or 0.27 points to 48.71.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 82 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) rose to all time highs; up 6.79% or 7.30 to 114.80. Shares in Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) rose to 3-years highs; up 4.91% or 3.3 to 69.7.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.82% or 1.33 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.87% or 1.55 to hit $84.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.60 to trade at $1192.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 9.4413, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 8.1617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.97.
