Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 3.85% or 4.40 points to trade at 118.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) added 3.53% or 2.91 points to end at 85.31 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 3.08% or 5.4 points to 179.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 4.49% or 1.80 points to trade at 38.25 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.45% or 0.96 points to end at 38.19 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 1.64% or 0.76 points to 45.48.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 115 to 96 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.19% or 0.12 to $63.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1276.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.13% to 9.8113, while USD/NOK fell 0.08% to 8.7848.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 97.768.
