Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI), which rose 2.62% or 5.60 points to trade at 219.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 1.80% or 1.00 points to end at 56.62 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 1.77% or 7.00 points to 402.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.15% or 2.13 points to trade at 39.25 at the close. Elkem ASA (OL:ELK) declined 1.35% or 0.30 points to end at 22.00 and Aker ASA (OL:AKER) was down 0.94% or 4.2 points to 444.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 99 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.49% or 0.27 to $54.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.47% or 0.28 to hit $59.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 7.45 to trade at $1483.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.17% to 9.9831, while USD/NOK fell 0.13% to 8.9151.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 97.417.
