Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Telecoms and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 4.00% or 1.800 points to trade at 46.760 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 3.93% or 1.74 points to end at 46.06 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 3.91% or 9.0 points to 239.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 7.91% or 4.92 points to trade at 57.30 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 2.86% or 1.08 points to end at 36.67 and Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) was down 1.97% or 1.71 points to 85.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 118 to 95 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) fell to all time lows; losing 1.97% or 1.71 to 85.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.38% or 0.84 to $61.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.69% or 1.19 to hit $71.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.15 to trade at $1296.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.52% to 9.7891, while USD/NOK fell 0.40% to 8.7328.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 97.315.
