Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 12.04% or 1.08 points to trade at 9.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) added 4.40% or 3.35 points to end at 79.50 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 3.33% or 11.20 points to 348.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 3.57% or 1.9 points to trade at 50.0 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 3.07% or 2.30 points to end at 72.55 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 2.71% or 5.5 points to 197.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 70 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) rose to 52-week highs; up 12.04% or 1.08 to 9.78.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.38% or 1.15 to $47.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.46% or 0.77 to hit $51.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.74 to trade at $1292.96 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.33% to 9.2593, while USD/NOK fell 0.29% to 7.8451.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.18.
