Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Materials, Commercial Service And Supplies and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 6.55% or 3.160 points to trade at 51.400 at the close. Meanwhile, Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 5.62% or 1.88 points to end at 35.31 and Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) was up 4.36% or 3.72 points to 89.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI), which fell 1.21% or 2.50 points to trade at 204.50 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 1.01% or 0.18 points to end at 17.14 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 0.98% or 1.1 points to 110.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 123 to 90 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.14% or 0.09 to $63.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $71.92 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 4.95 to trade at $1272.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.33% to 9.7829, while USD/NOK fell 0.26% to 8.7660.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.893.
