Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Utilities, Commercial Service And Supplies and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 7.29% or 4.80 points to trade at 70.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 3.14% or 3.8 points to end at 124.8 and Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) was up 2.67% or 0.15 points to 5.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orkla ASA (OL:ORK), which fell 2.79% or 2.12 points to trade at 73.80 at the close. DnB ASA (OL:DNB) declined 1.68% or 2.5 points to end at 146.5 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 1.63% or 5.6 points to 339.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 108 to 77 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.57% or 1.07 to $67.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.27% or 0.21 to hit $77.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1300.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.07% to 9.5521, while USD/NOK rose 0.06% to 8.1865.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 94.08.
