Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Utilities and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 3.18% or 1.14 points to trade at 36.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) added 3.09% or 5.05 points to end at 168.65 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 2.98% or 1.64 points to 56.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 1.82% or 1.30 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 1.81% or 0.28 points to end at 15.19 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 1.27% or 0.88 points to 68.32.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 89 to 84 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.71% or 0.47 to $65.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.16% or 0.90 to hit $76.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1302.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 9.4866, while USD/NOK rose 0.02% to 8.0583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.55.
