Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 3.45% or 0.210 points to trade at 6.145 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.05% or 0.39 points to end at 19.43 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 1.97% or 0.87 points to 45.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.32% or 2.70 points to trade at 48.02 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 2.10% or 7.6 points to end at 353.9 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 1.92% or 0.42 points to 21.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 109 to 103 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.12% or 0.07 to $60.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.57% or 0.39 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.75 to trade at $1307.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.81% to 9.6191, while USD/NOK fell 0.27% to 8.4757.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.87% at 96.028.
