Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Utilities, Auto & components and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 6.06% or 3.80 points to trade at 66.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 2.71% or 2.00 points to end at 75.85 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 2.43% or 0.03 points to 1.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 5.62% or 12.9 points to trade at 217.0 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 2.25% or 1.80 points to end at 78.30 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was down 0.86% or 0.39 points to 45.14.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 93 to 84 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.61% or 1.45 to $57.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.85% or 1.77 to hit $63.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 11.80 to trade at $1281.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.49% to 9.4477, while USD/NOK fell 0.47% to 8.1410.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.70.
