Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Telecoms and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 2.40% or 3.00 points to trade at 128.21 at the close. Meanwhile, Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) added 2.22% or 2.12 points to end at 97.69 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 2.04% or 9.40 points to 469.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 6.90% or 0.480 points to trade at 6.339 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 6.89% or 2.47 points to end at 33.36 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 4.47% or 17.50 points to 373.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 124 to 88 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Adevinta ASA Class A (OL:ADEA) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.22% or 2.12 to 97.69.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.17% or 0.09 to $51.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $60.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.75 to trade at $1343.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.21% to 9.8217, while USD/NOK fell 0.46% to 8.6960.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.45% at 96.812.
