Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.30% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 7.46% or 4.08 points to trade at 58.80 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 7.33% or 31.20 points to end at 456.80 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) was up 3.82% or 0.200 points to 5.440 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 4.05% or 0.77 points to trade at 18.23 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.31% or 0.65 points to end at 19.00 and BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO) was down 2.48% or 1.050 points to 41.300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 119 to 97 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.42% or 1.96 to $55.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.55% or 2.39 to hit $64.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.05 to trade at $1328.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 9.7692, while USD/NOK rose 0.04% to 8.6077.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.368.
