Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Auto & components, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 3.45% or 4.00 points to trade at 120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 3.34% or 16.50 points to end at 510.50 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 2.92% or 12.20 points to 429.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 4.24% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.52 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.72% or 0.96 points to end at 54.90 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 1.48% or 1.06 points to 70.78.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 107 to 83 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) rose to all time highs; rising 3.45% or 4.00 to 120.00. Shares in REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) fell to all time lows; losing 4.24% or 0.02 to 0.52.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $70.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.67% or 0.54 to hit $79.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.00 to trade at $1223.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.69% to 9.4580, while USD/NOK fell 0.45% to 8.1781.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 94.88.
