Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Auto & components and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which rose 3.32% or 6.6 points to trade at 205.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) added 2.49% or 0.16 points to end at 6.39 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 2.24% or 0.57 points to 26.07 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 0.96% or 0.5 points to trade at 48.4 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 0.86% or 3.60 points to end at 415.00 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 0.84% or 1.45 points to 172.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 70 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.76% or 1.66 to $61.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.63% or 1.67 to hit $65.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.50 to trade at $1325.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.75% to 9.5805, while USD/NOK fell 0.90% to 7.7699.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 89.97.
