Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Utilities, Auto & components and Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which rose 6.63% or 2.650 points to trade at 42.600 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 5.86% or 1.02 points to end at 18.42 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 4.61% or 1.85 points to 42.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.90% or 1.64 points to trade at 55.00 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 0.86% or 0.6 points to end at 66.6 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 0.75% or 3.60 points to 475.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 126 to 80 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.14% or 0.08 to $56.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.14% or 0.09 to hit $66.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.75 to trade at $1298.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.01% to 9.7445, while USD/NOK fell 0.39% to 8.6297.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.958.
