Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 5.07% or 1.41 points to trade at 29.23 at the close. Meanwhile, REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 2.89% or 0.03 points to end at 1.14 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 2.77% or 8.5 points to 315.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 3.77% or 0.14 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 3.56% or 2.30 points to end at 62.25 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was down 1.92% or 0.80 points to 40.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 75 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.92% or 0.42 to $46.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.21% or 0.58 to hit $48.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 9.30 to trade at $1270.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.19% to 9.5046, while USD/NOK rose 0.01% to 8.4952.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 97.31.
