Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.24% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 4.35% or 0.25 points to trade at 6.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 4.13% or 11.70 points to end at 294.70 and Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) was up 2.46% or 2.20 points to 90.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which fell 3.11% or 3.6 points to trade at 112.0 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 2.80% or 1.40 points to end at 48.66 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 2.63% or 12.20 points to 451.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 87 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.56% or 1.81 to $68.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.05% or 1.56 to hit $74.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1311.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.38% to 9.6591, while USD/NOK rose 0.85% to 8.1380.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.94.
