Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which rose 5.71% or 2.42 points to trade at 44.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) added 3.13% or 0.34 points to end at 11.21 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 2.23% or 2.60 points to 119.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 4.19% or 0.16 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 1.85% or 1.28 points to end at 68.06 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) was down 1.25% or 0.75 points to 59.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 149 to 132 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nel ASA (OL:NEL) fell to 5-year lows; losing 4.19% or 0.16 to 3.57. Shares in Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.25% or 0.75 to 59.35.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.15% or 2.22 to $68.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.87% or 2.12 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.73% or 73.60 to trade at $2,621.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.27% to 11.77, while USD/NOK rose 0.52% to 11.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.57% at 105.49.
