Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.21% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which rose 3.61% or 1.56 points to trade at 44.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) added 3.60% or 3.34 points to end at 96.00 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 3.15% or 18.00 points to 589.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which fell 1.95% or 0.22 points to trade at 10.81 at the close. Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) declined 1.80% or 5.00 points to end at 272.50 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) was down 0.81% or 0.50 points to 60.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 156 to 120 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.36% or 0.95 to $71.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.06% or 0.79 to hit $75.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.16% or 31.10 to trade at $2,706.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.33% to 11.56, while USD/NOK rose 0.28% to 11.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.55% at 107.52.
