Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Energy and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.19% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 5.90% or 0.59 points to trade at 10.59 at the close. Meanwhile, BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 4.42% or 1.35 points to end at 31.86 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 3.68% or 1.66 points to 46.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which fell 4.15% or 3.15 points to trade at 72.70 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.37% or 0.03 points to end at 1.11 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was down 2.27% or 5.8 points to 250.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 96 to 87 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.37% or 0.21 to $57.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.79% or 0.51 to hit $63.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.59 to trade at $1276.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.31% to 9.4738, while USD/NOK rose 0.53% to 8.1788.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.85.
