Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Insurance and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.64% or 3.40 points to trade at 132.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 2.56% or 1.10 points to end at 44.10 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 2.20% or 3.2 points to 148.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 2.49% or 11.00 points to trade at 430.00 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.26% or 1.04 points to end at 44.94 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 1.42% or 1.4 points to 94.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 94 to 82 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.20% or 3.2 to 148.2.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.82% or 0.98 to $54.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.20% or 1.34 to hit $62.18 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.45 to trade at $1321.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.28% to 9.6736, while USD/NOK rose 0.03% to 8.4328.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 95.227.
