Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Energy and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 8.69% or 15.3 points to trade at 191.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) added 1.92% or 0.12 points to end at 6.09 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 1.28% or 0.85 points to 67.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which fell 4.50% or 2.0 points to trade at 42.0 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.43% or 6.00 points to end at 240.80 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 2.04% or 7.10 points to 340.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 90 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.23% or 0.14 to $60.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1313.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.39% to 9.8054, while USD/NOK fell 0.74% to 8.1383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 91.59.
