Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Telecoms and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 3.78% or 0.39 points to trade at 10.71 at the close. Meanwhile, P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 0.92% or 3.40 points to end at 374.60 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 0.83% or 1.7 points to 206.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 3.84% or 1.37 points to trade at 34.32 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.69% or 1.08 points to end at 39.02 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 1.57% or 5.7 points to 357.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 80 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.77% or 0.38 to $49.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.52% or 0.29 to hit $55.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 10.10 to trade at $1285.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 9.3685, while USD/NOK fell 0.25% to 7.9748.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.52.
