Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 4.63% or 0.72 points to trade at 16.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) added 2.27% or 2.10 points to end at 94.60 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 2.17% or 4.10 points to 192.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 5.04% or 1.69 points to trade at 31.81 at the close. Aker ASA (OL:AKER) declined 2.05% or 14.0 points to end at 668.0 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was down 2.03% or 1.50 points to 72.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 99 to 71 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.24% or 0.17 to $71.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.36% or 0.29 to hit $80.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 9.80 to trade at $1231.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.04% to 9.4451, while USD/NOK fell 0.34% to 8.1471.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 94.66.
