Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.12% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 7.85% or 0.17 points to trade at 2.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) added 3.18% or 10.10 points to end at 327.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 2.25% or 0.23 points to 10.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which fell 2.48% or 7.40 points to trade at 290.70 at the close. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 2.35% or 3.40 points to end at 141.30 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was down 2.05% or 2.30 points to 110.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 140 to 128 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.79% or 0.61 to $76.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.80% or 0.65 to hit $80.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.31 to trade at $2,684.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.12% to 11.72, while USD/NOK fell 0.34% to 11.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 109.16.
