Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Materials and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.74% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.23 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 1.60% or 0.15 points to end at 9.19 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 1.59% or 0.58 points to 36.98 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which fell 2.25% or 5.50 points to trade at 238.50 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.81% or 0.84 points to end at 45.61 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was down 1.73% or 0.8 points to 42.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 90 to 89 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.47% or 0.27 to $57.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $63.60 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1264.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.51% to 9.9004, while USD/NOK rose 0.17% to 8.3741.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.20.
