Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Transport and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.56% or 2.60 points to trade at 59.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 3.01% or 1.30 points to end at 44.50 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 2.52% or 11.40 points to 463.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW Offshore Ltd (OL:BWO), which fell 3.21% or 1.250 points to trade at 37.750 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:NEL) declined 1.09% or 0.060 points to end at 5.450 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 0.72% or 0.8 points to 103.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 110 to 100 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $56.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $65.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.45 to trade at $1287.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.05% to 9.7934, while USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 8.6614.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.760.
