Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Commercial Service And Supplies and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.86% or 1.66 points to trade at 35.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.07% or 0.47 points to end at 15.85 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 2.07% or 0.31 points to 15.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which fell 2.34% or 0.170 points to trade at 6.885 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) declined 2.28% or 1.36 points to end at 58.34 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was down 1.44% or 5.70 points to 391.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 113 to 95 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.59% or 1.92 to $51.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.34% or 1.45 to hit $60.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.85 to trade at $1332.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.25% to 9.8049, while USD/NOK rose 0.40% to 8.7275.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 97.190.
