Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which rose 2.68% or 3.00 points to trade at 115.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 1.98% or 0.10 points to end at 5.35 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 1.92% or 0.22 points to 11.67 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which fell 1.89% or 1.15 points to trade at 59.60 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) declined 1.67% or 1.30 points to end at 76.65 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) was down 1.29% or 1.70 points to 130.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 156 to 139 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.81% or 0.57 to $69.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.65% or 0.48 to hit $73.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.40 to trade at $2,527.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.34% to 11.76, while USD/NOK fell 0.66% to 10.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.53% at 101.22.
