TOKYO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average rose 0.6 percent on Wednesday after two days of losses, helped by a halt in the yen's advance against the dollar and short-covering in exporter shares.
The benchmark Nikkei rose 58.63 points to 9,436.01, while the broader Topix added 0.4 percent to 821.46.
