TOKYO, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average rose 0.6 percent on Tuesday, hitting a seven-week intraday high with resource-related shares such as Mitsubishi Corp rising after oil, gold and other commodities rose the previous day.
The benchmark Nikkei rose 58.99 points to 9,685.08.
