TOKYO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average inched up to a four-month high on Wednesday as exporters gained, helped by a weakening in the yen against the dollar.
The benchmark Nikkei <.N225> was up 0.9 percent at 9,777.08, after rising as high as 9,779,24, its highest since July 14. It dipped 0.4 percent on Tuesday on profit-taking, following a more than 6 percent jump over the previous four sessions.
The broader Topix <.TOPX> added 0.9 percent to 847.06. (Reporting by Aiko Hayashi)
