(Bloomberg) -- Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he’s open to adding more money to the Federal Reserve’s lending program for mid-size businesses should it prove popular.

Mnuchin made the comments Wednesday on a video conference with reporters.

Congress directed the Fed to create the so-called Main Street lending program for mid-size businesses as part of a $2.2 trillion economic rescue package, signed into law last month. The Fed hasn’t yet launched the program.

Mnuchin also said there are no plans to add funds to an airline rescue effort.
