Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has deepened its relationship with PayPal (NASDAQ:PYPL), the company announced Wednesday, with the integration of PayPal's Pay Later solution in the U.S., UK, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
In addition, the company said customers in the U.S. will soon be able to pay with Venmo in the Microsoft Store.
PayPal Pay Later is PayPal's buy now, pay later service that allows eligible consumers to pay for purchases over the course of weeks or months in fixed amounts.
Venmo is currently available in the Microsoft Store on Xbox in the U.S. Microsoft said the move to provide more flexible pay methods should help increase customer loyalty.
"The addition of new PayPal payment method options delivers on this commitment and offers even more flexibility for customers with tools that work for them and their goals," said Ajith Thekadath, Vice President of Global Payments, Microsoft.
