Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.59% or 0.26 to $44.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.73% or 0.35 to hit $48.52 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.50% or 5.40 to trade at $1093.10 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was up 0.17% to 3.0739, while USD/MYR rose 0.49% to 4.3800.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 99.11.
