Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Real Estate Development and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.88%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which rose 9.61% or 1.85 points to trade at 21.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 8.82% or 1.20 points to end at 14.80 and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) was up 8.78% or 1.40 points to 17.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280), which fell 2.86% or 0.50 points to trade at 17.00 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) declined 2.26% or 0.45 points to end at 19.50 and Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) was down 1.99% or 1.50 points to 74.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 150 to 16.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.42% or 0.69 to $49.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.53% or 0.80 to hit $52.72 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1146.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.2189, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 95.58.
