PRAGUE, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Former Czech central banker Pavel Kysilka will take over as chief executive at the biggest Czech bank, Erste Group Bank unit Ceska Sporitelna, Erste said on Thursday. Kysilka, 52, will take over from Gernot Mittendorfer, who will join Erste Group's board in January, Erste said.
Prior to joining the Erste group, Kysilka served on the Czech central bank board and briefly led the bank in 1997-1998. He has been on the Sporitelna board since 2004. (Reporting by Jan Lopatka; Editing by Jon Loades-Carter)
