Investing.com -- Celebrity Kim Kardashian showed off a Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) Optimus bot to her hundreds of millions of followers on social media Monday. “[M}eet my new friend,” Kardashian said in a post with a video of her interacting with the new humanoid bot.
Kardashian asked the bot to wave and cup its hand to make a love you heart sign, which it could do. She then asked the bot what they should do and the bot recommended going for a run and dancing Hawaiian-style.
In a second video, Kardashian showed a video of a Telsa Cybercab and gold-colored Optimus bot. “Optimus is here to take mw for a ride in the Cybercab,” she said.
At Telsa’s Robotaxi event in October, CEO Elon Musk said the bots could be Tesla’s largest product ever.
"It can be a teacher, babysit your kids, it can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks," Musk said about the bot. "Whatever you can think of, it will do.” Musk said the Optimus bot would be available to buy in the future for less than the price of a car.
