(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Federal Reserve board, Judy Shelton, still doesn’t have majority support in the Senate to be confirmed, Senator John Thune said.
Shelton remains a priority for the White House, and the Republican-majority Senate will move forward on her nomination before the November election if she can win enough support, Thune, a member of the GOP leadership, said Tuesday.
The nomination would be blocked if four Senate Republicans join Democrats in opposing her.
