Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.35% or 3.2 points to trade at 241.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.10% or 0.37 points to end at 34.13 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.90% or 11.0 points to 1230.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.80% or 7.7 points to trade at 419.1 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.07% or 4.0 points to end at 371.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.99% or 5.0 points to 498.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 53 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.90% or 11.0 to 1230.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.53% or 0.26 to $49.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.88% or 0.44 to hit $50.16 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1214.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.6680, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4388.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.49.
