Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 1.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Mediobanca (MI:MDBI), which rose 0.59% or 0.058 points to trade at 9.946 at the close. Meanwhile, Ferrari NV (MI:RACE) added 0.58% or 0.60 points to end at 103.80 and Bper Banca SpA (MI:EMII) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.000 points to 4.661 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tenaris (MI:TENR), which fell 3.17% or 0.45 points to trade at 13.75 at the close. STMicroelectronics (MI:STM) declined 2.99% or 0.570 points to end at 18.490 and Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) was down 2.69% or 0.72 points to 26.02.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 295 to 65 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ferrari NV (MI:RACE) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.58% or 0.60 to 103.80.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.50% or 0.99 to $64.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 2.11% or 1.47 to hit $68.18 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.04% or 14.00 to trade at $1333.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.49% to 1.2453, while EUR/GBP rose 0.46% to 0.8810.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 89.06.
