Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Leonardo SpA (BIT:LDOF), which rose 1.32% or 0.29 points to trade at 22.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Pirelli & C SPA (BIT:PIRC) added 0.63% or 0.03 points to end at 5.10 and Bper Banca SpA (BIT:EMII) was up 0.21% or 0.01 points to 5.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:CPRI), which fell 18.50% or 1.44 points to trade at 6.33 at the close. Amplifon (BIT:AMPF) declined 4.56% or 1.24 points to end at 25.95 and STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI) was down 3.58% or 0.95 points to 25.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 341 to 152 and 49 ended unchanged.
Shares in Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:CPRI) fell to 3-years lows; losing 18.50% or 1.44 to 6.33.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.96% or 1.32 to $68.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.88% or 1.33 to hit $72.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 15.20 to trade at $2,796.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.36% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.52% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 103.95.
