Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Pirelli & C SPA (MI:PIRC), which rose 1.27% or 0.08 points to trade at 6.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Tenaris (MI:TENR) added 1.22% or 0.15 points to end at 12.48 and Bper Banca SpA (MI:EMII) was up 0.83% or 0.028 points to 3.418 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Prysmian (MI:PRY), which fell 5.12% or 0.90 points to trade at 16.59 at the close. Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) declined 3.49% or 1.11 points to end at 30.73 and Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU) was down 3.41% or 0.57 points to 16.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 274 to 89 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.66% or 0.37 to $56.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.00% or 0.66 to hit $66.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 13.40 to trade at $1212.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.11% to 1.1322, while EUR/GBP rose 1.82% to 0.8862.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 96.96.
