Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Travel & Leisure and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.61% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Pirelli & C SPA (MI:PIRC), which rose 3.08% or 0.19 points to trade at 6.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Buzzi Unicem (MI:BZU) added 2.67% or 0.47 points to end at 17.86 and Banco Bpm SpA (MI:BAMI) was up 1.76% or 0.032 points to 1.872 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telecom Italia (MI:TLIT), which fell 2.39% or 0.0120 points to trade at 0.4900 at the close. FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (MI:FBK) declined 1.89% or 0.19 points to end at 9.77 and Unione di Banche Italiane SpA (MI:UBI) was down 1.50% or 0.0450 points to 2.9590.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 185 to 178 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.08% or 0.06 to $71.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.60% or 0.48 to hit $79.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.10 to trade at $1222.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.1558, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8784.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.93.
