Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI), which rose 1.56% or 0.10 points to trade at 6.86 at the close. Meanwhile, Italgas SpA (MI:IG) added 1.30% or 0.060 points to end at 4.689 and Saipem SpA (MI:SPMI) was up 1.28% or 0.0590 points to 4.6620 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were STMicroelectronics (MI:STM), which fell 3.91% or 0.540 points to trade at 13.270 at the close. Bper Banca SpA (MI:EMII) declined 3.44% or 0.121 points to end at 3.394 and CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) was down 2.44% or 0.232 points to 9.262.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 217 to 149 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.38% or 0.24 to $63.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1231.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.07% to 1.1397, while EUR/GBP fell 0.32% to 0.8752.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.21.
