Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Salvatore Ferragamo SpA (MI:SFER), which rose 2.24% or 0.45 points to trade at 20.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) added 1.32% or 0.49 points to end at 37.59 and Recordati (MI:RECI) was up 1.13% or 0.34 points to 30.39 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlantia (MI:ATL), which fell 2.15% or 0.39 points to trade at 17.77 at the close. Prysmian (MI:PRY) declined 2.09% or 0.45 points to end at 21.12 and Exor NV (MI:EXOR) was down 2.02% or 1.12 points to 54.28.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 205 to 158 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.77% or 0.52 to $67.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.43% or 0.33 to hit $76.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.20 to trade at $1201.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.54% to 1.1559, while EUR/GBP fell 0.52% to 0.8942.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.35.
