Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI), which rose 3.62% or 0.355 points to trade at 10.155 at the close. Meanwhile, Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) added 1.51% or 0.55 points to end at 36.95 and Italgas SpA (MI:IG) was up 1.44% or 0.076 points to 5.340 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (MI:FCHA), which fell 2.81% or 0.548 points to trade at 18.984 at the close. UniCredit SpA (MI:CRDI) declined 1.51% or 0.2740 points to end at 17.9000 and Exor NV (MI:EXOR) was down 1.47% or 0.92 points to 61.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 182 to 151 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.51% or 0.55 to 36.95.
Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $68.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.09% or 0.07 to hit $74.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.80 to trade at $1323.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.04% to 1.2109, while EUR/GBP rose 1.03% to 0.8786.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 91.43.
