Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Travel & Leisure, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were ENI (MI:ENI), which rose 1.25% or 0.17 points to trade at 13.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Leonardo SpA (MI:LDOF) added 1.15% or 0.170 points to end at 14.900 and Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) was up 1.09% or 0.27 points to 24.97 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salvatore Ferragamo (MI:SFER), which fell 3.95% or 0.93 points to trade at 22.63 at the close. Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP) declined 2.58% or 0.80 points to end at 30.15 and Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna (MI:EMII) was down 2.55% or 0.120 points to 4.588.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 207 to 159 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.34% or 0.17 to $49.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $55.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.25 to trade at $1327.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.31% to 1.1956, while EUR/GBP fell 0.96% to 0.8811.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.80.
